Catalog description
The course is an introduction to business and society in China, the world's second largest economy. The course explores the development of Chinese society in business and economic contexts. It provides students with an understanding of the geography, society, culture and ideology in China. The course is conducted in a research-based approach, through lectures, readings, presentations and discussions. Students will learn the fundamental bases of Chinese society from a historical and global perspective. They will also achieve a better understanding of business activities in China.
