Catalog description
This course is designed to allow students to participate in a mentored research project with a Biotechnology faculty member. Students pursue a lab or field research project in a selected area of biotechnology. Students must write a 2-3 page proposal, approved no later than five weeks after the start of the course. For successful completion of BIOT 497 , a professional presentation is required before graduation. Repeatable up to a maximum of six credit hours. Requires permission of supervising instructor and GPA greater than or equal to 2.5.
