Catalog description

This research-embedded course will introduce students to the techniques and experimental design currently used in aquatic microbial ecology through both literature and laboratory procedures. Students will participate in projects that are currently a component of the instructor's research program. BIO 584 will be taught concurrently with BIO 484 . Students may not earn credit in both BIO 484 and BIO 584 .
