Catalog description

A writing-intensive introduction to basic neurobiological processes that draws from molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, behavioral biology, electrophysiology, pharmacology, computer science and optics. Topics will include both classic and state-of-the-art techniques. Special emphasis will be placed on framing techniques as tools to answer basic scientific questions in neuroscience. BIO 543 is taught concurrently with BIO 443 . Credit may not be earned in both BIO 443 and BIO 543 .
