Lower Extremity Orthopedic Examination

Catalog description

This course develops foundational examination and critical thinking skills necessary for an athletic trainer to appropriately assess a patient. Students will learn the examination process, how to perform a secondary survey, and how to perform lower extremity orthopedic evaluation skills. In this course, students will learn and practice evaluation techniques in a supervised setting in order to develop entry-level practical skills.
