This course explores theories, practices and challenges related to leadership and community engagement in the arts sector. Through the study of interdisciplinary perspectives from art and human centered design, students will examine the role of leadership in fostering innovative and sustainable impact within cultural organizations. Through theoretical frameworks, case studies and practical applications, students will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to lead and facilitate arts-based and design-based initiatives that promote community engagement, social change and cultural impact.
