This survey course introduces students to the practice of fine art printmaking through relief, intaglio, lithography, silkscreen and related processes. Students develop skills in image construction, editioning and safe studio procedures while translating concepts into printed form. The course emphasizes technical proficiency and creative experimentation within historical and contemporary contexts of printmaking.
