Catalog description

This course introduces the United States Air Force and Air Force Reserve Officers Training Corps. Topics include mission and organization of the Air Force, officership and professionalism, military customs and courtesies, Air Force officer opportunities and communication skills. JMU students will take AFROTC classes at the University of Virginia for JMU credit. AFROTC cadets and students interested in joining Air Force ROTC must also register for AIRS 100 , Leadership Laboratory.
