Catalog description

Presents a continuation of patient care in the intraoperative setting as performed by the intermediate to advanced level surgical technologist. The student will scrub independently with minimal assistance from a preceptor for surgical procedures of the following body systems: Gastrointestinal, Obstetrics, Gynecological, Orthopedic, Ophthalmic, Ear/Nose/Throat, Dental/Oral/Maxillofacial, Plastic and Reconstructive and Neurological. Offered: Spring Prerequisites: SRG 1510 , SRG 2100 Corequisites: SRG 2500 .
