Provides an introduction of the student to care and maintenance of various artificial airways, including placement and suctioning techniques. An introduction to positive pressure ventilation will be provided, as well as the many cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques that are used in the field of Respiratory Care. 'C' grade policy applies. Offered: Spring Prerequisites: RES 1010 , RES 1110 Corequisites: RES 1120 , RES 1410 .
