Catalog description

Provides students with an introduction to the biological bases of behavior through a behavioral science perspective and is a prerequisite to advanced courses in psychology. Topics include history, functional anatomy, genetics and evolution, research methods, hearing and language, motor movement, sleep/circadian rhythms, homeostasis, emotions and stress, drugs, addiction, developmental disorders, and other complex disorders and behaviors.
