Catalog description

Provides certification for those aspiring to be police officers. This academy will be conducted in accordance with the rules established by the Ohio Peace Officers Training Council and the training curriculum of the Ohio Peace Officers Training Academy. Requirements include: Minimum age 21, physical from a physician to participate in strenuous training and activities, no felony record, crimes of violence, OVI, crimes of theft, excessive bad driving record, or domestic violence convictions. Valid driver's license required. Must be fingerprinted and record checked through BCI&I and FBI. This course is graded S/U. Offered: Spring Prerequisites: LAW 2910 .
