Catalog description

Introduces activity directing; specifically covers textbook knowledge, lecture, and in-field demonstrations to gain working knowledge of the activity profession. Students will also learn about the elderly as individuals and what makes them unique human beings, and what happens to them as they age. They will also learn about Resident Rights, activities of daily living and community resources. This is part one of a two part class. 'C' grade policy applies. Offered: Fall.
