Catalog description

Provides the opportunity for practical application and skill development in phlebotomy. Students will complete clock hours of clinical training and orientation in an accredited laboratory with a minimum performance of 100 successful unaided blood collections including venipunctures and skin punctures. Student must be at least 18 years old and be a high school graduate or hold equivalent certification. Offered: Summer, Fall, Spring Corequisites: BHS 1845 .
