An analysis of criminal and deviant behavior with an emphasis on knowing that the crime problem requires an understanding of the various events that influence a person's life course. Focuses on criminal as well as non-criminal deviance such as mental disorder, drug use, sexual deviance, and prostitution. CJ 417 is cross-listed with FI 417 , and only one may be taken for credit.
