Prerequisites: ENGL 111 - English Composition OR VISC 101 Design Fundamentals OR Program Chair approval Corequisites: Pre/Corequisites: Description: This studio art course will begin with an introduction to the practice of creative placemaking and the history of public art projects inthe community. After initial study, local sites will be evaluated for possible future art projects and design thinking strategies will be implemented to determine community impact.Students will have the opportunity tocollaborate on atleast onecommunity art project during the course and then will be able to formulate and present their own public art proposals.
