PREREQUISITES: TTEN 123 Toyota T-Ten Electrical Systems II, AND TTEN 121 Toyota T-Ten Braking Systems, AND TTEN 101 Toyota T-Ten Steering and Suspension Systems PRE/COREQUISITES: COREQUISITES: DESCRIPTION: In this second course of a two-course sequence, students continue with advanced diagnosis, service, and repair of electronically controlled steering and suspension systems on modern Toyota passenger vehicles and light-duty trucks. Emphasis is placed on the safe use of precision measuring instruments and Toyota-specific tools and service information to troubleshoot, service, and repair electronically controlled components and subsystems. Students examine the theory, operation, and design variations of contemporary steering and suspension architectures, including active and adaptive systems. Throughout the course, students complete required modules in Toyota online (service technician online training) and culminate the sequence by taking the ASE A4 Steering and Suspension and A5 Brakes certification exams.
