PREREQUISITES: APHY 101 Anatomy and Physiology I. - Admission to the Radiation Therapy Program CATALOG DESCRIPTION: Content is designed to provide students with an introduction to cross-sectional anatomy of the human body and principles related to appropriate imaging modalities. This course will demonstrate the clinical application as well as anatomical terminology. A focus on Computed Tomography with an overview of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Positron Emission Tomography, and Ultrasound will be introduced. Case studies will be presented in order to apply the knowledge of sectional anatomy and imaging modalities with what is seen during clinical rotations.
