Prerequisites:APHY 101 - Anatomy and Physiology I, PTAS 101 - Introduction to the Physical Therapist Assistant, PTAS 107 - Kinesiology, and PTAS 106 - Modalities I Corequisites: Pre/Corequisites: Description:Explores diseases and trauma that necessitate physical therapy. Medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, psychology, disabilities and physics related to these conditions as discussed. Provides students with the opportunity to explore their own reactions to illness and disability and to discuss how to recognize patients' and families' reactions to illness and disability.
