PREREQUISITES: PSYC 101, Introduction to Psychology and ENGL 111 English Composition CATALOG DESCRIPTION: An introduction to health and emphasizing mind-body issues, the biopsycosocial model and cognitive behavioral theory. The course will emphasize research methods and current practice related to stress and pain, as well as health related behaviors. Within the course, treatment approaches, behavioral risk factors and public health issues will be addressed.
