CATALOG DESCRIPTION: Examines theories and research related to human drug use and abuse. Drug pharmacology; physiological effects of drugs on the nervous system; social and psychological issues affecting drug abuse; the treatment, effects, prevention of substance abuse; and therapeutic uses of drugs in mental illness will be addressed.
