PREREQUISITES: MATH 043 Intermediate Algebra or Math 122 Technical Mathematics CATALOG DESCRIPTION: An introductory course that introduces the concepts and applications of physics and their role in our daily life. Leads students to develop an integrated understanding of the theory and applications of measuring (or unit) systems, scalars, vectors, force, work, rates, energy, power, simple machines, vibrations and waves. Emphasizes understanding concepts, factual knowledge, computation, and application. Includes lab.
