Catalog description
Prerequisites: Corequisites: Pre/Corequisites: Description: Fundamental processes of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Global Positioning Systems (GPS) with application to agriculture are presented. An in-depth review of guidance equipment, communication protocols, and sources of error within systems. The courses also focuses on file formats, database management, spatial analysis, and manipulation of data. Georeferenced data from mapping and yield monitoring will be analyzed.
