Prerequisites: NSGP 104 Essential of Nursing Concepts and Clinical Judgment, NSGP 108 Essentials of Nursing Practice I, NSGP 109 Essentials of Nursing Practice I Lab & Clinical, NSGP 121 Pharmacology and Dosage Calculations Lab, NSGP 118 Essentials of Nursing Practice II, NSGP 119 Essentials of Nursing Practice II Clinical, NSGP 130 Essentials of Nursing Practice: Family & Community, NSGP 131 Essentials of Nursing Practice: Family & Community Clinical, APHY 101 Anatomy & Physiology I, APHY 102 Anatomy & Physiology II, ENGL 111 English Composition, PSYC 101 Introduction to Psychology Corequisites: Pre/Corequisites: NSGP 132 Essentials of Nursing Practice III, NSGP 133 Essentials of Nursing Practice III Clinical Description: Prepares the nursing student to transition to the licensed practical nurse. Reflects on the roles and responsibilities of the licensed practical nurse. Integrates concepts of clinical judgment, professionalism, and self-care management. Engages students in preparation for NCLEX success and licensure.
