Prerequisites: NSGP 104 Essentials of Nursing Concepts and Clinical Judgment, APHY 101 Anatomy & Physiology I Corequisites: Pre/Corequisites: NSGP 108 Essentials of Nursing Practice I, NSGP 109 Essentials of Nursing Practice I Lab & Clinical, APHY 102 Anatomy & Physiology II Description: Examines the licensed practical nurse role related to pharmacotherapeutics, medication administration, safety, and informatics. Uses evidence-based practice to guide the application of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics as it pertains to the licensed practical nurse. Demonstrates medication administration and use of electronic health records. Demonstrates application of dosage calculations.
