Prerequisites: NSGA 140 Intro to Nursing Concepts and Clinical Judgment, NSGA 142 Health and Wellness Across the Lifespan, NSGA 143 Health and Wellness Across the Lifespan Lab Corequisites: Pre/Corequisites: NSGA 145 Foundations of Nursing Practice Lab and Clinical Description: Introduces students to the role of the registered nurse in providing safe patient care according to established policies within the diverse healthcare setting. Provides an overview of the safety and ethical principles utilized in the provision of patient care across the life span. Examines the nurses role as the provider and manager of patient care within the intra- and interdisciplinary team.
