PREREQUISITE: None. CATALOG DESCRIPTION: Introduces the basic concepts of manufacturing operations and plant floor layout in the production environment. Applications of Computer Numerical Control for milling, lathe and turning operations are developed as a foundation for machining operations. Coordinate system concepts are introduced relevant to the machining processes.
