Catalog description

PREREQUISITES: MATH 136 College Algebra and MATH 137 Trigonometry with Analytic Geometry, or MATH 138 - Precalculus, or Demonstrated Readiness for College Level Calculus. PRE/COREQUISITES: COREQUISITES: CATALOG DESCRIPTION: This course introduces the student to fluid power systems, with emphasis on operation, analysis, and implementation of hydraulics and pneumatics for engineering applications. Analysis of incompressible and compressible fluids is practiced with particular attention to individual hydraulic and pneumatic components, and students are provided a broad overview of system integration options along with applied learning opportunities.
