Prerequisites: Corequisites: Pre/Corequisites: Description:This course introduces the beginning student to the fundamental skills necessary to take a design from concept to implementation via virtual modeling and the creation of working mechanical drawings. Utilizing both traditional and contemporary tools, students will study visualization, established technical drawing techniques, CAD based design, and characteristic standards to produce mechanical designs and drawings that can be readily and successfully shared with production organizations to create accurate parts and assemblies.
