PREREQUISITES: MEAS 137 Outpatient Insurance and Basic Coding, MEAS 209 Electronic Administrative Practices, MEAS 218 Pharmacology, MEAS 219 Medical Assisting Laboratory Techniques, MEAS 239 Clinical II, Professional CPR/AED Certification and MEAS Program Chair Approval. CATALOG DESCRIPTION: Course provides opportunities to observe, perform, and discuss various administrative and clinical competencies under supervision, with learning experiences obtained in selected physicians offices, clinics or hospitals.
