Prerequisites:Demonstrated competency through appropriate assessment or earning a grade of C or better in MATH 080 - Mathematical Principles, and Program Chair Approval Corequisites: Pre/Corequisites:MEAS 110 - Introduction to Clinical Practice Description:Discusses the most common medications in current use with emphasis on classifications, uses, routes or administration, dosages, interactions, incompatibilities, and side effects. Emphasizes the current 50 most commonly prescribed drugs. Addresses special precautions, legal aspects, and patient education and preparation and administration of medications.
