PREREQUISITES: None CATALOG DESCRIPTION: A study of the government’s basic procurement or acquisition process. Topics covered include identifying the goods and services it needs (also known as the agency’s “requirements”), determining the most appropriate method for purchasing these items, and carrying out the acquisition. Also discussed are cataloging, ordering, repairable and consumable supply chains, Life Cycle Material Command (LCMC) roles and responsibilities (NAVSUP, CECOM, AFMC).
