Prerequisites: Corequisites: Pre/Corequisites:LEGS 101 Introduction to Legal Studies Description:Movies and television depict the work done by lawyers and paralegals as occurring primarily in the courtroom. The reality is that a great deal of our work is done at a computer. Would you like to see and use the types of technology that are typically used in a law office? Completion of this course will introduce you to the practical ways we use technology in a law firm such as time keeping, billing, document management, along with much more. In addition, successful completion will result in a certificate from our partners at the National Society of Legal Technologists, which is a wonderful addition to your resume.
