Catalog description
Prerequisites: Corequisites: Pre/Corequisites:INDT 205 - Programmable Automation Controls I. Description:Reviews and builds upon the content in INDT 205 Programmable Automation Controllers I. Introduces master control reset, subroutines, math/compare functions, analog inputs and outputs - configuration & applications, network driver configuration/transfer/point to point, HMI basics & applications, and further sequencer content with examples and troubleshooting. This course will use lecture, lab, online simulation and programming to further prepare students with additional knowledge of PLCs for working in the field as an installation and troubleshooting PLC technician. In addition, students will attempt certification assessment through SACA, Smart Automation Certification Alliance.
