PREREQUISITES: HUMS 101 Introduction to Human Services and HUMS 102 Helping Relationship Techniques CATALOG DESCRIPTION: This course provides an orientation and theoretical background to the understanding of human behavior, utilizing an ecological system framework. It will focus on the development of individuals and families through the life span, with attention to the institutional and societal factors that impede the development and quality of life of diverse populations.
