PREREQUISITES: Demonstrated competency through appropriate assessment or earning a grade of “C” or better in ENGL 093 Introduction to College Writing and ENGL 083 Reading Strategies for College, or ENGL 095 Intgrated Reading and Writing, or FOUN 071 Tech Foundations. CATALOG DESCRIPTION: This course will examine the technological development of the United States. Emphasis will be given not only to the inventions themselves but the reasons why such technology was needed and what influence the technology has had on the United States society.
