PREREQUISITES: None. CATALOG DESCRIPTION: Introduction to natural and sustainable gardening practices and permaculture design principles. Students will create gardens with an emphasis on plant communities, edible ecosystems, function and aesthetics. Includes studies in water conservation, soil development, wildlife and native gardens, and fruit and vegetable gardening.
