Catalog description
PREREQUISITES: Demonstrated competency through appropriate assessment or earning a grade of “C” or better in ENGL 093 Introduction to College Writing and ENGL 083 Reading Strategies for College or ENGL 095 Integrated Reading and Writing. CATALOG DESCRIPTION: An introductory course in French. Introduces the French language and francophone culture through communicative activities intended to develop oral communication skills and listening comprehension skills. Emphasis is placed on learning basic grammar and vocabulary necessary for successful communication while laying a foundation for further study.
