PREREQUISITE: Program Advisor Approval COREQUISITE: PRE/COREQUISITE: COURSE DESCRIPTION: The Entrepreneurship Capstone serves as the culminating experience for students who have launched or are actively developing their own businesses. This course enables students to apply entrepreneurial skills to real-world business challenges. Students will strengthen their understanding of entrepreneurship principles, business models, and business planning while formulating actionable marketing, sales, and financial strategies. Emphasis is placed on evaluating business performance using key operational and customer metrics, managing risk, and exploring sustainable growth opportunities. Learners will also analyze ownership structures, intellectual property considerations, ethical decision-making, and potential funding sources to support long-term success. The course culminates in preparation for the U.S. Entrepreneurship Certification Examination from the Career and Technical Education Consortium of States (CTECS).
