Prerequisites: Corequisites: Pre/Corequisites:ENTR 200 - Entrepreneurial Enterprise DESCRIPTION: This course provides students with the financial knowledge and analytical skills needed to effectively manage the finances of a small business. Students will explore and evaluate various funding sources for new ventures while learning to prepare and interpret key financial statements. The course emphasizes cash flow management, break-even analysis, sales forecasting, and the development of sound credit and tax practices. Students will understand the importance of working capital and cash management, identify financing needs, create accurate sales forecasts to assess business viability, and apply them to their business concept. By the end of the course, students will develop a financial management plan for the business they are developing.
