Prerequisites: Corequisites: Pre/Corequisites:EECT 111 Introduction to Circuit Analysis or (EECT 113 - Introduction to DC Circuit Analysis and EECT 114 - Introduction to AC Circuit Analysis) Description:Provides an overview of electrical machines and how they relate to industrial electronics. Gives students insight into electrical power generation, polyphase systems, transformers, all types of electrical motors, power factor and power factor correction, back-up power and electrical power monitoring.
