PREREQUISITES: A minimum of 9 credit hours of EDUC courses and Program Chair Approval PRE/COREQUISITES: COREQUISITES: DESCRIPTION: Focuses on the study and application of psychological concepts and principles related to the teaching-learning process. Topics covered include educational research methods, cognitive and language development, personal, social, and moral development, behavioral learning, motivation, effective teaching, and assessment and evaluation. This course may be offered in face-to-face, blended, virtual, or Learn Anywhere formats. Department Chair approval required. Must be taken at home campus. Maximum enrollment of 15. OBSERVATIONAL FIELD EXPERIENCE STATEMENT: A 10-hour (minimum) in-person observational field experience is required for successful completion of this course.
