PREREQUISITE: Demonstrated readiness for developmental English. COREQUISITE: PRE/COREQUISITE: COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course provides an in-depth exploration of early intervention strategies for infants and toddlers. Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of child development from birth to age 3, including physical, social, emotional, linguistic, and cognitive growth. The course emphasizes the importance of embedding therapeutic goals within the framework of infant and toddler exploration, covering areas such as physical properties of objects, numeracy, movement, function, spatial relationships, and causal relationships. Students will learn to develop developmentally informed goals in collaboration with families, specialists, and other professionals to support the holistic development of young children.
