Prerequisites:DMSI 129 Corequisites: Pre/Corequisites: Description:This course is a continuation of the second and third trimester fetus. The fetal genitourinary system and musculoskeletal structures will be discussed. The maternal and fetal support structures, congenital anomalies, as well as fetal/ maternal syndromes will be covered. Alternate and supplemental testing will be explained. Multiple fetal pregnancies, associated complications, and fetal Doppler will also be addressed. Normal and abnormal development, pathology, and pathophysiologic effects will be explained for each of the fetal systems. The embryologic development of each system will be discussed.
