Prerequisites:DMSI 126 Corequisites: Pre/Corequisites: Description:This course will cover the second and third trimester fetus. The fetal neural axis, facial and cranial development, fetal abdomen, gastrointestinal structures, and abdominal wall will be discussed. The fetal thorax and fetal heart will also be covered. Normal and abnormal development, pathology and pathophysiologic effects will be explained for each of the fetal systems. The embryologic development of each system will be discussed.
