Prerequisites:DMSI 123 Corequisites: Pre/Corequisites: Description:In this course the production of images used in diagnostic medical sonography will be covered. Steps of image formation from the initial electrical input to image formation will be discussed. The breakdown of each component and how each part effects the ultrasound image will be defined. Doppler principles and Doppler application in medical sonography will be covered. Forms of Doppler as well as optimization of Doppler controls will be explained.
