Prerequisites:DMSI 112 Corequisites: Pre/Corequisites: Description:This course will continue in the basic principles in soundwaves used in diagnostic medical sonography from DMSI 112 Physics I. Pulsed ultrasound principles and the components used in sonography as well as changes that occur as the sound waves propagate are discussed. The construction of transducers will be covered. The changes in materials of transducers and the effects the changes have on imaging will be explained.
