Prerequisites:DMSI 115 Corequisites: Pre/Corequisites: Description:Lab and clinical practice experience shall be assigned for sequential development, application, critical analysis, and evaluation of concepts and theories in the performance of general sonographic procedures. This will be accomplished through structured lab practice to sequential, competency-based assignments in the clinical setting. Concepts of teamwork and patient care centered clinical practice and professional development will be examined and evaluated. Lab and clinical practices are designed to provide the student with patient care and general sonographic exam experiences. Patient care, scanning skills, and proper ergonomic techniques learned in the lab will be practiced in the patient care setting.
