PREREQUISITES: DHYG 204 Pain Management, DHYG 228 Dental Hygiene Clinical Procedures. COREQUISITES: DHYG 201 Community and Public Health Dentistry, DHYG 203 Dental Materials, DHYG 209 Preventive, DHYG 224 Dental Hygiene Clinic II. CATALOG DESCRIPTION: The study of oral diseases, oral manifestations of systemic disease, and the processes of inflammation, wound healing, repair and immunological responses. Emphasis will be placed on the recognition of oral abnormalities and differential diagnosis of oral lesions.
