Catalog description
PREREQUISITES: Admission to the Dental Assisting program. This is the first in a series of courses that introduce in-depth qualification and legal/ethical requirements of the dental assistant. Emphasis is placed on asepsis techniques, including sterilization, disinfection, characteristics of microorganisms, disease transmission and infection control.
